Currently in for a bit of work though, so will look a little different in a few weeks from now. Wheels will be a dark gunmetal, some of the internal vinyl is being replaced with matching red leather, the front grille will no longer have 'pigeon damage', a speaker upgrade etc... Why? Just because. I intend to keep it (even though its a mere 4.2) and have a slight OCD edge which means I want it to be as good as it can be.

I had to pull a pheasant out of the grill on my 4200 - it had completely disappeared in there!

4.2 is fine BTW. Need to be really pressing on to notice the difference.

And a couple from a nice local car meet last summer, with plate transferred, and the chrome waist trim painted piano black. Glad I kept the other chrome bits.

Well that's my feeling really too. I mean, ok 4.7 is more and all that, but how often can you use that much of the power on our roads!? The number of times I sit frustrated in traffic... I've also - for more or less the first time - started to get that 'its getting into my soul, I'm not selling it for another...' type of feeling with the car. I may well add a.n.other vehicle later this year or early next and have some pretty solid plans on that front, but at the same time won't be saying good bye to this car. Its my first step into 'supercar' type ownership and I intend keeping it for some time into the future.
