Hi,

Anyone got a photo of the underside of the 4200 - front and rear - without any parts removed etc. Just want to make sure that i have all the undertrays etc.

Thanks,
R

Thanks Robert, it looks like any protective shields would have already been removed in those photos.

I've had a look at Eurospares and can't see if there's anything either.

Ross,
The rear one is still in place, although hanging down a bit. The front I think is as it is, the last bit on the rear section of the front tray is the air spoiler, then you have the engine..!!

Thanks - I just wondered is that was a tray covering the underside of the engine - I guess not!

You can see the slightly rusted brackets where the undershield / aerodynamic shield screws in. It's an important component - fairly durable piece of plastic that does a good job protecting all the pipework, bottom of the rad etc from at least some of the slings and arrows of outrageous UK roads.

I'm quite sure I have this front piece. It stops before the steering gaiters i believe?

Semi-rigid black plastic, width of the car and about 18" deep, judging by the Eurospares diagram (and on the basis that it's functionally equivalent to the GTS part, which it looks to be).

Yes my rear section of the front shield is not yet in place on the photo, all correct guys. Ross you should see the small air deflector on the back edge of the front shield under the front of the engine, I think that is the last bit..!!
