I have OBS35S which my bro refers to as 'obese'. I thought it was fitting for me as I'm often told that I am obsessed with cars.
Have owned a few others too, a B16 plate when I was younger and had A5WOD on a car a few years back. Sold that though. Also have a my 'special' plate for when the GS puts a shaddow on the drive.

We have had quite a number of NI plates over the years, SIB3248..Co Armagh, FIA3360 ...and old Antrim plate....the number on my Alfa is FIA 3015....freaky...huh????>.....and LIL3343 and LIL3344....and back to Fermanagh.........-David-

I think a good personal plate finishes a car of nicely, even a 5 digit plate with a prefix tidies a car up nicely. We have P1DRS on a 1 series BMW and people often comment what a smart car it is which I am sure they wouldn't if it had a current 7 digit plate.
As I think most people on here know I have 80RA on my 1973 Bora which I think finishes it off nicely.

A8KON believe it or not i used to get stopped reguarly in that merc most by coloured guys in hoodies , been offered £1500 for this plate because some rapper has the same name apparently , gonna end up being one of those plates thats worth more than the car soon

Unfortunately it has been on stop as it has taken longer to get into the new business than I hoped (finally get the keys 1st December) and not really had money coming in since the end of October last year....
I thought I had sold my Subaru which would have allowed me to finish the Bora but despite paying a deposit and asking me to hold the car till he got back from holiday the buyer now says he can't afford it!
Fingers crossed I will be able to get it back on the road for Spring next year.

I am proud to say that I have X007 AML. Might consider swapping it for Maserati Stradale. A plate is worth nothing to some people and worth a great deal to others. In my opinion you should only buy a plate if you really enjoy it- just like a painting. Anyone has Pierce Brosnans telephone number?

How's that work Andy, that plate could only be on a car registered after Mar 2007 (assuming it was AO 07 JMB as A 007 JMB isnt valid)?
