Passenger window stuck in drop mode on GranCab… any idea where the fuse is located?

Hi guys,

Found the passenger window stuck on its drop level when you open /shut the door..

However, there is no power and there is no “clicking sound” when I try to operate it from both the driver and passenger window control switch…. All other 3 windows work perfectly…

I don’t think it’s the regulator as there is no clicking sound or attempt at movement within the passenger door..

So could it be a fuse? If yes, I have looked at the manual (first time since owning a maser since 2004 I’ve done that) and can not see where the fuse is for the passenger window…. Can anyone let me know if we’re is a specific fuse just for the passenger window and if yes, where it’s located? If there is not (I.e. only 1 fuse for all 4 windows) any idea what the issue could be before I spunk money with Lancasters!

Cheers!!

See this a lot.

The door doesn’t think it’s shut so the window remains in drop position.

Press the electronic release on your exterior door handle and listen for the microswitch ‘ting’ when you press it and ‘ting’ when you release it. Also make sure the manual release is not stuck in.

All being well, it’s the door lock unit itself.

Pig to fit but readily available and about £125 from memory, I have a drivers one, fitting it next week.

I did fix it for about 2 months by removing the door card and removing all the multi plugs and applying electrical cleaner.

The 2 pin smaller plug is the power line to the motor.

should be a section in the manual for passenger compartment fusebox. Its behind the pull down section / lover panel under the steering column.

I think the fuse for the windows will be there. On the 4200/GS the fuses for drivers and passenger window are on the bottom row of that bank of fuses.

The manual should have the exact fuse number.
