Parking Sensors, Parking Brake, ESC & ASR all at the same time (sort of)

Right - currently on a road trip, and as seems to be the norm on these occasions, I'm getting some error messages.

It started with just parking sensors, which came and went 2 or 3 times over a couple of days.
Then I got EPB failure along with ESC and ASR failure. No change in the way the car drove.
Left the car parked for a couple of days. EPB, ESC and ASR had gone away, only left with parking sensors.
EPB, ESC and ASR came back again after a couple of hours.

I know it sounds battery related, but I've just driven approx 1,100 miles in the past week.

It doesn't sound like a wheel speed sensor, as that doesn't go away once it's started (in my previous experience).

Any thoughts?

Could be the sensors in the wheels. I had intermittent Christmas tree lights associated with suspension etc, which went away for while when the car was switched off and then back on, and then later with disconnecting the battery. However, eventually, the lights always came on and the issue was the wheel bearing sensor.

Are you getting intermittent battery light eg when you go over 3K revs? That was the sign that my alternator was toast, which I ignored until the battery died in the middle of rush hour London.....

First stop: New battery, then ABS sensor in one of the hubs. It's classic symptoms IMHO. If your battery is on its way out, doesn't really matter how much you're driving it.

Battery is less than 2 years old. I can't currently find the email with the exact date and brand / model of battery. However, I've read enough on here to know that batteries on these cars are a regular problem. I'm in Italy at the moment, so will need to find somewhere that will do supply and fit. We're staying in one place for a week from tomorrow, so I should be able to sort it.
