Hi guys

2 weeks into QP ownership and I am loving it!

Always like to add a little uniqueness to my cars and so today removed the chrome grill and treated it to a little bit of satin black!

Looks much better7473974740!

Then gave it a good wash and took some pics - I LOVE the rear quarter view - looks so good in my opinion.

A few niggles to sort - rear bumper has been painted before I collected it and now the parking sensors are playing up! Plus I've booked it in to have the subframe inspected at the front and probably treated with Dinatrol.

Oh did I mention its my daily! Lots of car park envy at work!

Cheers

Simon

Looks great! I actually really liked the silver whenI had it as it was more elegant for my weddings. I guarantee you got some jelly work colleagues

Hi Simon, I watched a youtube video for BMW parking sensors ( which is what we have ) where the fix is to spray them with WD-40.
WD-40 displaces the dirt/moisture. Can't hurt to give it a try. It certainly worked in the video

Throw £12 at a skoda sensor rather than wd40 I reckon.

It's not just the parts cost, but the hours or labour or the contortions to fit it. Most Mas problems (apart from brakes or windscreens) can sometimes be improved with a pint of WD40.

Can't you send a small child up there to change them?
