So I was talking to a friend of mine about Maserati's range recently. He made an interesting comment that he would never buy one today as they've become too ostentatious.
Seriously???
Well okay, the front grill is menacing and I guess it can be conceived as attention grabbing, but vulgar? Never, not to my mind at least.
My immediate thoughts were, he most likely can't afford one, hence the envious comments, but that was quickly dispelled when I recalled he owns a Porsche Speedster. He also drove a Maserati Mistral in the 70s.
Horses for Coarses and all that but was quite surprised at his comments.
