Once upon a time there was this Blue maserati 4200

Well guys........SH1T happens, apparently this car had just 5k miles on it when it ended up like this.............was a 2002 model....has been in the scrapyard for last 4/5 yrs.....outside last 2...oh dear.......

Apparently there was some issue about the doors in the accident....several inspections were made...........not sure of outcome

That is a sad tale indeed....

Amazing what has been recovered, seems from the first photos there wasn't much bodywork that wasn't wrecked. What was the doors issue? had they got stuck in the accident or popped open during the roll over?

As its a number of years ago, the guys weren't clear. Engine was sold to the mainland, not sure what happened rear end etc

Always sad to see. Suppose the only good thing is that so much of it was recovered for spares. An engine with just 5K on it? Someone will have been pleased with that.........

Well at least some of it still lives in other Maserati's.........

Niether car seems to have hit anything very hard ...appears to have cliipped a few things and went off road.......in the top one all metal work ruined.

An engine with just 5K on it? Someone will have been pleased with that.........

I'd love to use that engine in a Marcos at some point. Could be called a Marcos Modena... if my Rover 4.6 ever packs up that's what's going in

Sad to see a lovely car lost like that, hope all involved were unhurt.

As per one post, issue with door lock/failing.......not sure if there was a serious injury or fatality...once a car goes off road....you never know
