Sort of related... remember seeing a Marcos LM500 racing car that had a BWM M5 engine and 6spd gearbox in it. Came with all spares, was Euro40k and this was when Euros were cheap!. Think it was aboyt £30k equivalent for a rocketship of an up to date racing car. Talking with my Marcos people, would have been a couple of grand to have made it road legal - what a car that would have been!

Would love that white one, but Eu300k..? Imagine buying a GS and stripping it out yourself... You could make a car 95% as good for £40k I'd say and if you're not going racing, what a trackday car that'd be!

l just dont understand why it is so expensive, that Trofeo car i posted a link to above is 200k cheaper and barely run in.

It you look at the 2 cars Adam the black one doesn't look like a factory Trofeo...Look at the difference..The body add on etc...The white car has a much wider stance the black car doesn't..

The one i posted is a Trofeo, there are 4 for sale, it is exactly the same one that Jodie Kidd raced that time except hers was Yellow.
