Oil leak from roof

Seem to remember a washer and circlip on there and when feeling the top of the post there was a ridge as if the circlip had been turning on the shaft causing a ridge so used a small file to take the ridge off and a little oil working the ram back and forth as much as you can under there and eventually it came off

Got the hoses from Chris at CRH cabriolet-roof-hoses cannot fault them

Yep, a couple of washers and the circlip sitting in it's recess. I'll try some penetrating oil to see if that loosens it up. Maybe there's some oil/dust mixture holding firm. Thank you for the tip about CRH. I've already picked up a repair coupling from a guy in the US. He's on eBay.
