Yes ok i'm being a lazy ****

Sat at my desk at work, I dont know what the sizes of my 2009 GTS front tyres are, I know they're 19" but can someone tell me the full size details please.

Had enough of the outside tyre wear and P-Zero's, speaking to someone about geometry set up and decided to go Michellin on the fronts, no idea if I can get super sports or PS4's in my size so off to do some research. I know there's a couple decent threads on here so I'm not here begging to be drip fed what choices I have, although feel free to give me the quck answers lol :lol2:

I would love to help a lazy person out ;-) however I would have expected yours to be 20" Neptune wheels on a GTS looking at your avatar?

Also, I thought inside wear was much more common on a GTS rather than outside wear so maybe you should have your geo looked at if they are wearing on the outer edges

Standard are 19 I think, but the 20s I have are

Front tyres: 245/35/20
Rear tyres: 285/35/20

My outsides are worn quite bad, I'll need to check insides but pressures are always checked and she was aligned on a hunters machine just before Xmas.

There was a thread somewhere online hay described perfectly something I experience in that at a standstill if you swing the front tyres it's almost like the squares of the tread break grip and almost jump

If you have the factory alignment I think the toe in causes the outside to wear. It's a trade off. There are probably other setups that can give more neutral tyre wear.

For what it's worth, I find that 'grip' issue on every car I've had with fattish, low profile tyres at low speed. Never been a real problem.

Not having it now, as my fronts are ****. Triangle? As a name for a tyre?

Lol to be fair I'm 300 miles away from her, I'm still in my old M3 brain when it comes to thinking about things sometimes, had my M3 5.5 years and get confused, 37 this month, cells are going, my weekly footy ain't getting any easier either lol
