Offside dipped headlight intermittent - electrical or bulb?

New Maserati owner (2002 Maserati 4200 Coupe CC) so look out for lots of newbie questions, such as this one…. The offside dipped headlamp is working intermittently (standard headlights not the Xenon ones unfortunately).

When I picked up the car this week it was fine, previous owner said there were no electrically issues and day before purchase it passed its MOT with no advisories. 24 hours in and noticed the headlights seemed dull and then when I pulled up the front offside light was out (full beam fine though). Next day it was working again in the morning, then off in the afternoon.

What do people think, electrical (loose connection, low battery etc.) or bulb (about to blow, needs replacing). If it’s bulb, how easy is it to change?

Welcome Steve

By the looks of your avatar you do not have washer jets and thus do not have xenon’s so it should be the bulb

Thanks Conaero. My gut said bulb too. I’ve been reading in the forum on changing the bulb, something about removing the wheel + arc sleeve whilst on jacks. Does this sound about right?
