Odd stuff you've found

Well, I was in a conversation today with a nurse, I mentioned the rapist now trans who's been remanded to a wormens prison, all be it segregated

She told me the NHS has sent out cervical smear appointments to trans women and they've turned up then kicked off when the staff refuse to start the test because they haven't got a cervix

This is madness that could cost womens lives if it slows down the testing to accommodate trans men, women or whatever they are, I get confused, in the 70s when you played stink finger you knew exactly what you were getting

Here's something I didn't know until I was in my fifties...Noon isn't 12 o'clock.

I know that time zones are a convenience and they didn't come around until trains brought about a standardised time (in the UK at least).

I'm referring to the fact that the peak of the sun rising in the sky isn't always the same throughout the year despite you being in the same place...Obviously the length of day changes throughout the year but dependent on the time of year, noon isn't necessarily 12pm. It can move anywhere from 11:45 to 12:15...

23rd January Official Daytime at Gatwick is 07:12 Noon 12:14 Night is 17:15.
18th January Official Daytime was 07:26 Noon 12:11 Night 16:57

In fact she has several, IMHO but it's an extremely complex issue ill suited to the lack of nuance present in most of today's 'discussions'

That makes perfect sense, but never actually occurred to me!
