Hi Guys,

Just wondered if anyone had a unvented cylinder and a boiler for the heating and hot water needs?

If so, and if they are in the same cupboard, what size is the cupboard? We are trying to find the space to squeeze this in at present.

Thanks,
R

what size cylinder do you need as a 300l (554m x 1680mm) is bigger than a 250l or even 117l

Get as big a cylinder as you can fit in the space, running out of hot water is a total pain, ours stands on the floor and is chest height, plenty of water..!!

We'll be getting a 210ltr unvented cylinder.

I'm quite sure that unvented cylinders outstrip combi's when it comes to flow rates. So they can support multiple bathrooms a a very good pressure/flow simultaneusly. Also, they can hold 210ltr hot for a very long time, and constantly keep topped up. If you empty it, you are looking at 20-30min full recovery.

I design cylinders, so can (within reason) build you any size stsinless steel cylinder and supply at trade price if that helps.

That's very kind of you, thanks. However, I've no idea how all the other bits and pieces would be fitted. And the contractor has already agreed a price to supply and fit this within the larger costs of the works.

So I don't think I'll be taking you up on your generous offer...but that was "think"...I don't know for certain yet.

Thanks
