Not the best Bond film i know but just seen the chase with the original GTV6, god it sounds good. On ITV4 now.
...I think perhaps as Connery did if for soooooo long...plus the times in which his films were made....they represented something else.......now there are 3/4/5/6 similar types of cool, killers on the block.....back in the 60s/70s....there was only one Bond.......

Exactly right Frank i feel it really all depends on what era your from, and at what age you saw it for the first time, Not surprising Myles and Adam have a different view they are from a different generation spose WE old farts are too predictable
regards loz

Haha, that's very kind of you to put me in the same age category as Adam Loz, but I'm 47! I grew up watching Connery (who I rate highly) and Moore (who I don't). Connery was undoubtedly great in his day and suited the style of film making perfectly so I have fond memories, but in spite of that I do think Craig has re-vitalized the franchise. Just my opinion though.
Oh dear, I fear I'm in a small minority here as I think Craig is the best of the bunch and, along with the grittier style and direction of the new films, is exactly right for the 21st Century. Puts Bond up alongside Jason Bourne, Jack Bauer and Frank Martin (Jason Statham) from the Transporter films, etc. I'm glad to be rid of the old ooh-er missus slap-schtick Bonds.
Right, I'll get me coat..
