If it’s a car they’re selling and thus happy to represent, then I’d take comfort in their reputation - which they wouldn’t tarnish by selling something that wasn’t befitting of their name and standing. I also get a sense from other write ups that they’d do ‘the right thing’ should something untoward rear it’s head.Hello, I am considering a car at Nuvola and read so many good feedback on them that I am considering not doing a pre-purchase inspection on the car (even though I suck in mechanics). What would be your advice?
Thank you for your help.
I think you can trust that the car won’t be a dog with obvious faults, so……
Assuming has a third party warranty I wouldn’t bother, but would have the car inspected towards the end of the warranty period, so anything picked up could be addressed the
That’s what I did when buying from RG.
Good idea, thanks, although it would only cover the potential faults. The warranty is from WarrantyWise.I think you can trust that the car won’t be a dog with obvious faults, so……

Thanks. I was very impressed by him, very honest gentleman.Nareman did the PPI on my car (private purchase). The list of issues turned out to be spot on when AV engineering subsequently inspected the car and carried out the work needed.
I wouldn’t bother with a PPI if I was buying from Nuvola.
thank you for the tip!If you are 'Down South yourself I would consider booking a slot with Emblem Sports Cars free Saturday Clinic during the first few weeks of owning... any issues they find can be sent to Nareman to fix.
I confirm, a real nice guy, this is rare in the car dealership world. This
I bought my first Granturismo from Nareman many moons ago and he is a very honest, true gent. His warranty was excellent too so the small issues that did occur in my first year of ownership were put right immediately with no fuss, at a garage local to me at his cost
Very true, this is a 2009 car.
Thank you Felonious Crud. How long was the warranty provided by Nareman? Did you extend it afterwards?I've dealt with Nareman and would have no qualms buying a car without a check. His after-sales service was extraordinary, and far beyond what he needed to provide.
Only caveat, this was a good few years ago. Warranty was from WarrantyWise and was excellent.
One year. I didn't extend. It felt like a gamble but the support and insights from here gave me confidence that running one of these need not be a ruinous experience. And it wasn't.Thank you Felonious Crud. How long was the warranty provided by Nareman? Did you extend it afterwards?
Thank you. Was it for a GT MC Shift with potential cam variator issues (i.e. pre-July 2009)? Nareman thinks that if the issue did not happen after 12 years and c. 50,000 miles, it will not happen later. One year. I didn't extend.
