Thank you. Was it for a GT MC Shift with potential cam variator issues (i.e. pre-July 2009)? Nareman thinks that if the issue did not happen after 12 years and c. 50,000 miles, it will not happen later.
What's the engine number?

Hello, I am considering a car at Nuvola and read so many good feedback on them that I am considering not doing a pre-purchase inspection on the car (even though I suck in mechanics). What would be your advice?
Thank you for your help.
Bought my first 4200 from him without a pre purchase inspection, discovered a couple of problems with it after driving back from London to North Wales. He offered me a full refund and then he came up to North Wales and took it back again. He is a gentleman, so much so that I immediately bought another one from him, again no pre purchase inspection. Never had a problem with that one, but had the confidence that if I did it would be sorted without any hassle. I would do the same again.

Will be one of my first ports of call
