Yes, a couple of months back. Not through boredom, might I add. Something was presented that I had to grab when the timing was right and the Maserati was the funding. Ah well, another time....

I would suggest Rockingham Castle with a Run to Melton Mobray / Rutland, returning to Uppingham Town Square, For a Pint & tyre kicking??

If we can agree a Day of the week / end that works for the Majority the exact location can follow.??

Thoughts

Right to move matters forward I'm going to propose :-

1) 1st Tuesday of the Month for regular meet from 6.30 pm location Stags Head in Maidwell easy access from A14 Corridor great car parking great flowing roads.

2) 2nd Sunday of the Month as above midday meet?

A 40 minute run out in the surrounding area, route to be agreed, back for drinks & the aroma of over heated brakes!

Please confirm preference guess we need 3-4 to kick things off but let's see how it goes?

It occurred to me last night that a meeting on the 2nd Sunday of a month puts it back-to-back with the 'ACE Cafe' meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month (near enough). Would it be better in general to have a meeting that's a fortnight away? So, 4th Sunday?

Considering the time of year I think moving to the end of the Month may bring a higher probability of inclement weather.

No - Sunday is a test day for me and (hopefully) Susie at Blyton Park again. Anyone welcome to come along if they want a chat over a bacon buttie. I might slip in an entry for Harewood for the end of August meeting - the 1st/2nd was full, so couldn't get a slot.
