Yep , thats the one mate ,
and yes all refreshed Enzo , but a sad tale to tell on our return journey home between juction 13 and 14 , just 3 miles from home on saturday night /sunday morning , Kaz's daughter who was driving their Mazda Supremacy with her hubby passenger and 3 kids 6 , 3 and 2 year olds were hit sideways on at 70mph which through them into a spin and the car rolled 3 times ending up on its roof , the other Vehicle a silver ford escort convertible REG NO M277 PPP also span off onto the enbankment , then proceeded to drive off leaving the seen of the accident and pssibly 5 people to die ,

Fortunately and very luckily all were rescued by a heroic passer by in a white van , and my thanks go out to him , he dragged them all to safety as the car started to catch alight , Yes chaps its so easily could have been a bad one , after a manic phone call and being somewhat a mile or so ahead i turned around and arrived just before the services arrived

After 5 hours in A and E they were all released with a few cuts and stiff necks and nothing more serious thank god ,

Turns out now the car was uninsured and in the last month has not been registered to anyone its making my stomach turn just reliving it , anyone who see the the above car or recognises the number please get in touch , it has loads of damage now on the passenger side

regards a getting slowly religious loz

Loz,

Just to say that the reg number shows this registered as a red diesel with the DVLA...

Sorry Enzo my mistake the reg number is M277 PPP and shows a silver ford escort , taxed a month ago for a year , therefore was insured to enable the tax to be purchased then the policy was cancelled some days later, sp we discovered from the police today

Welcome back Loz, but saddened to hear your news. Thank God everyone is okay! So the Escort was going north I guess? I'll certainly keep an eye out for it. Cheers, Miles.

any and all help appreciated as always Enzo

Worst thing is , is that it aoppears now the police are giving the case a lack of urgency , possibly because the victims have come out relatively unscathered, if you see the state of their car its hard to believe anyone survived , i'll post some picks later

Loz, just in the door myself, sorry to hear of your family's accident, luckily they were ok.....hope they will recover fully and put it behind them.....shameful the response of the police, inspires less and less as the years go by.

Loz,

Just read the thread with horror and then some relief. Will pray that your loved ones eventually get over this. It sounds like a miracle and thank goodness for the brave fella who thought not for himself and rescued everyone.

Best wishes

Cheers guys , they are still very shook up at the moment , but im finding it difficult to understand why they seem to be getting the run around from their own fully comp insurance , and the extra RAC accident cover they have had for 5 years, because at the moment their is no named driver or insurance to claim against , seems everyone is closing the doos as to supplying them an interim vehicle or helping with their claim , so ive been on the case today upsetting people pointing out their inadequacies and failures and hopefully getting them to take the bull by the horns and actually do their jobs , Not a lot to ask , seems if someone had of died they would treat it more seriously , what world do we live in

sorry to hear all of this Loz.
the main thing is that the family are ok.
the insurance sh*t is what we have all come to expect from financial institutions , but that will all get sorted.
for now you are doing the right thing and taking care of your family.

Loz, thats terrible and a very worrying time for you and the family. Glad all is OK and you are right this could have had a terrible ending. Lets hope justice can be done on the driver of the other vehicle.

Hey Loz, just back from 3 weeks hols myself, sorry to hear about this accident but glad everyone's in one physical piece. Can shake you up long term though so watch out for that, and I speak from experience in a near identical situation when I was forced off the M3 in to a tree at 70 mph.

My passenger and I walked away despite one witness stating "the Alfa left the road, hit a tree and appeared to explode" - the hole in the scenery at J3 of the M3 was visible for a good decade.

Plod? Forget it. No serious injuries, not bothered. Luckily I had legal insurance who pushed it hard and lots of witnesses, we tracked one of the two cars down privately and the guy had a solicitor's statement ready!!Grade 1 a-hole. Plod were forced to do something then so cautioned him, and we went for his insurance who eventually paid out - I was TPF&T.

Took four years.

I also know where the other driver lives, who conveniently found a dozen witnesses to tell plod he was at work. They didn't ask who was driving his car that day.

Good job I believe in Karma and I'm not 6'5 and of out-house construction, or I might have dropped by to point out their failings.

Makes you sick mate, but remember the important people are in one piece.

again sorry to hear that, glad you back so try and focus on your life now and these things have been and will be always happening because of knobs that dont insure or have no conscious to atleast see if everyones alright
i was a passenger with my friend in a van on the m40 and we moved to the inner lane because there was a van up our ***, little did we know he moved to the inner lane so quick that we swerved to miss him but doing 80mph the van moved side to side and we hit the barrier 2 times head on, he drove off, people stopped asked if we were alright then another driver in a e30 crashed aswel it was bad, my knees were fooked but nothing else and when we went to the pound to get things out the car 1 day later they couldnt believe we were the ones in the van, they thought and he said in 30 years in his job that was a certainty, lost a life line that day

all that because of a knob and he never stopped, i could have been killed, wouldnt have been upset with him if he stopped and seen to be helping but to drive off makes me want to kill him, i have a few friends that are "connected" they could trace reg numbers to addresses but i never took his down, ill ask see what they want or if they can do this one my man
