Hey guys
Just wanted to intro myself & say hello, "Hello!"

Just bought my first Maserati, a QP IV & can see a lot of work being required. First job is the cambelt change, then the A/C.....

Will keep you updated with the work that I plan to do myself.

Do stick a few photos up, where you're based and any thing else maserati you want to chat about.

Enjoy the car and above all this forum!

I wish mate!

No no, it's a 99my. I live in Rugby, Warwickshire. It's a plane over & ferry back for me, when I finally get over there. I've not seen it yet so I hope its a good one.

Hi Onkar and welcome to the forum. Nice to see that an enthusiast is willing to take on one of the older models. Love the interior in the QP IV, a very classy place to sit. Do let us know how you get on............

Thanks for the welcome guys
I am collecting the car on Sunday from Belfast & catching the ferry back so it will get a **** good run!!
Looking forward to it........

Only concern is that the cambelt was changed in 2006 but has done no miles since. I can't change the belt untill I get it home & that means driving it home.

That is my only worry...........

I would be stopping every 50 miles /coffee break time and having a good look at it and see if its cracking (like safrane ) mentioned and or getting any worse just to be on the safe side

Pics are a must when you get her home , and photographic how too's on any fixes that yopu perform would be just brilliant

warm regards loz

Welcome. Luck ***. I love QP's :)

If you're really concerned about the drive home ( cambelt ) I have contacts who can transport it.
