Newbie from Ayrshire

Hi folks. I’m jumping in, well dipping my toe in just now, and going Italian.
I’m currently looking at buying my first Italian car, always had German.
I’ve had a read through this site for a few months now and I’ve not been scared off .
This is what I’m looking at. Anyone know it or have any background on it?
74000 mls. Clutch and pump replaced at 66000 mls.

Went through Anglia car auctions last week. Looks like it was unsold

2005 Maserati Coupe 4.2 Cambiocorsa

4,244cc. Finished in metallic Azzurro Argentina with black and grey leather interior. This face-lift model is sold with warranted mileage of 74,500. It was fitted with a new gearbox hydraulic pump at 66,000 miles and a new clutch at 67,000 miles. It comes complete with the service book...

It is mate. Flight to Birmingham then an Uber.
Doesn’t bother me. Bought cars in Germany a couple of times and driven home.
Be a nice road trip home.

The drive home will be great. Let’s you get to know the car, especially once back across the border and take the tourist route back. Nice roads to play on.

Good luck - a pre purchase inspection by an indy is worth considering. Ayrshire is a nice spot; lived in Ayr for quite a few years.
