Mericans. Got to love them.

What would be the point of FCA selling Alfa and Maserati now? Two or three years ago absolutely. It doesn't make sense with the new cars just hitting the showrooms. You'd want at least 12 months sales to bolster the price you could get.

They've probably looked at the price of the 4C and thought , might as well just bale out now

I feel they are both too far down the reconstruction route to bail now. If it was going to happen they would have done it prior to throwing billions into the pair of them.

Giulia and Levante will be big sellers with 2 new models from Maserati aimed at the sports car market are deep into production.

I would say that the future is brighter now than anytime in the past couple of decades.

But then again, Fiat ultimately make the deductions.
