Hello,


I just bought a 2016 Maserati Ghibli. DV6 and I was wondering if there are any common problems with these cars that I should be wary of?

I have to ask the question because I just got the car and I know it shouldn't start giving me any problems now. I started the car to leave for work and it began to idle very fast. I went to shut it down and it would not turn off it kept running. The battery died and it quit running. Any one ever come across this problem and what is the fix. Thanks.

I'll also be needing some parts and I was wondering if anyone here is parting out a 2016 Maserati Ghibli. DV6 and the part are affordable?

Welcome. What parts do you need?

First thing I would do is clean out the intake and the shutoff valve.

Also look at the front intake pipe for splitting on the top where it goes under the plastic engine cover.
