Hi, picked up a 2014 Ghibli Diesel in Blu Passione with 46k on it last weekend. Have had company cars for about 15 years and wanted something interesting but still able to do a good bit of work mileage. Looked at all the Germans and the Jag 3 litre diesels and really fancied a 2017> Ghibli due to the Apple Carplay. Then got this 2014 with aftermarket Carplay for such a good price, I just couldn't justify the 50% increase to a facelift model. If I really like it, I may look to get a newer one at a later date.

I'm based in West Cumbria and picked the car up from Essex. Only saw one Maserati ( Gran Turismo) along the entire journey. Looking forward to learning from all your experiences and wisdom.

I was seriously outclassed. Roller Shadow, Bentley, couple of McClarens, a Lambo, C63, G63 then the normal mess of performance Bimmers, Jag XKR and a 911 obvs.

A GT would have sounded better than them all, though

Prom run for my dog groomer's son this evening in my GTS. Rather looking forward to showing up the others when I arrive at Fontwell Racecourse!

A couple of pics of the Ghibli. Pleased with it overall although the ride quality is worse than expected, if the road isn't great. Definitely prettier and more interesting than the German competition.

Interior wise I've got the Sabbia leather. It has the shift paddles (can't believe how few have these?) and I think I must have the Convenience Pack (Camera & Key-less entry). I think I have at least part of the Premium pack as I have the powered seats and adjustable wheel but not sure I have the Full AFS lights (not driven in the dark though with being summer!). Is there a way to find a build sheet to check the full spec?

Looks very similar to mine. Diesel? Can't really see but those don't look like S discs?

I don't think the ride quality on mine is *bad*. I mean, it's not silk smooth, but it's not really meant to be. Certainly didn't feel hideously worse than the Jaaaaag or the Bentley

Miner's on 20" wheels (yours has 19s I think) and the ride around town is jittery. On a smooth road, it's very different and it's clearly a car built for the open road.
That said I had 20s on an Alfa and it's more the quality of our roads than the car that's at fault.

Nope, mine's on 20s. What tyres have you got? A four wheel alignment may help

I guess they can be jittery if you're pushing on on rippled surfaces but I have to say when you pop it in sport you can actually find some real faith in it
