Hi Guys,
Just bought 2004/ 2005 Spyder CC. with SkyHook suspension.
Named her Mitzy as she sure is a neat young lass.
First registered in Feb 2005.Mileage 35000kms and of course Clutch has been replaced.
Is there away of determining the year of manufacture from the VIN number or chassis number?
Regards,
Peter

Welcome Peter and welcome to the mad house!

Only think I can think of is post your VIN up here and we will cross reference it with our UK cars so see where it slots in.

Any chance of some pics?

Hi Alan,
The last 5 digits are 08269.
If it is possible can one find out when in the year of manufacture as I noted that the 2004 model there were changes in July 2004.
I look forward to your response.
Peter

I live in a little town outside of Durban(Kwa Zulu Natal) called Hillcrest.35 kms from the sea,650 metres above sea level and approx 1.5 hours from the mountains (The Drakensberg range)
If you are in the area when visiting S.A. it would be great to make contact.

Well the rugby has started and as expected NZ thrashing Tonga. We have a biggy on Sunday when we take on Wales. The result could go either way and I think the weather is going to play a part.Any way the Mitzy is getting more attention than the Rugby. I just posted some pics of her on the forum.

Got a few friends in Hillcrest, Pinetown, Kloof etc. Lovely place to live. There's plenty of nice cars there but don't think I've ever seen a Maserati.

Dem, you can't say to a Springbok that the All Blacks are the best team. That's like telling an Englishman that you love Diego Maradona, Rudi Voeller and Ronald Koeman. South Africa have won two world cups, NZ, just one, in 1987.
