I envy the interior, I think it's a whole level of magnitude of plush above the Maserati. But there also seems to be lots of them about, probably because they've all looked so similar for such a long time.

Plus I suppose its the most desired marque in this country. Even non car fans seem to want an Aston Martin.

Thats the James Bond effect. At last years Dads day out I overheard a woman turning down 4 laps in a concourse Ferrari 275 GTB/C (1 of 12 ever made and worth up to 1m) in favour of an average V8 Vantage (common as sh!t worth 35k) because James Bond drives one. I could have slapped her for being so stupid.

My brother-in-law couldn't give a rat's ar5e about cars but would sell his children for an Aston.

As for turning down four laps in a 275... that beggars belief. Still, if it made her happy and put someone more appreciative in the Ferrari then good.

On a recent track day, my daughter had the option to drive a Lambo, Ferrari etc and actually chose an Aston DB9 Softop, she said it was a dream..??

I know, you should have seen my face..!! In comparison I drove the Lambo and the McLaren MP4 at well over the 150mph mark and she looked as though she was going shopping....!!!!!

As I said the most desired marque in the UK........No surprise really....Ian knocked it on the head it's the Bond thing plus the fact they look lovely and add the fact they are British and it appeals to lots....

Not sure the V12 with 500 plus BHP needs a Supercharger........The V12 Vantage I went in was just bonkers...

Maybe not the V12, that's pretty quick, but the rest of the range could be considered slow for the money..??

i would of volunteered to slap her for the ride in a 275 or 250.

This little beauty sold at auction at the Spa-Classic last weekend...
1964 275 GTB Berlinetta, chassis and engine # 06663,
hammer fell at GBP 673,000 (plus the buyer pays an additional 15%)...
Have to say it is fast becoming my favorite colour :D

Just saw this, thanks for sharing Andy.

Rear seems too plastic, too fake. And...Don't you think that the rear axle is a bit high? Reminds me of the 4200 stock setup.

Lovely front, and i do like these wheels.

Wheels do it for me as well Nikos......You don't have to have the black on the back or black roof as its an option........but with 570 bhp I bet its on **** of a drive.
