Sounds like an admirable attitude, Petbri. Also sounds like the poor woman's at the end of her tether anyway. Insomnia's an absolute bugger and can shred you mentally as well as physically. Chances are she's a bit embarrassed about her meltdown.

I'm very lucky with my neighbours. The only ones near enough to be troubled by the Maser are good friends, committed petrolheads (911, the last of the air-cooled. 993, is it?) and love the noise. The ones that lived there previously could go screw themselves frankly and whilst I'm sure they didn't approve of the beautiful opera I couldn't have given a shite. It's a shame they never complained so I could tell them to fvck off.
