A few quid to spend on it. If you bought it, ran it for a couple of years and then broke it, you wouldn't lose much. Relatively risk free motoring I would think.

Its a risk but a small one because of the price...Sure an inspection would tell you all you need to.....Not a fan of the 4 door if it was a Coupe a may have taken a look.

...sorry to say...but the late 80s early nineties cars...pretty much un-inspriring style wise and endless trouble to maintain......his list of intermittent electrical faults would grind you down after a few months, unless the patience of Job and do a lot of it yourself.

Adam if it sells for under 4k it's far cooler than any little hot hatch......

If it's had so much work done and so much money spent, why is the interior so minging? I would have thought it would be polished to perfection to justify the outlay.

I mean...what sort of person would then buy a car for 5/6/7K...and its accompanied by bills to value of 20/30/40 K?

Its mind boggling really......................

Right...that 430. Mmmmm....I always liked them when I was a kid - well, not the shape - it's not really bedroom wall material is it - more the brand (oh, I own the brand already don't I doh!). Anyway, I digress....I'm now not a kid (well, physically anyway) and I still quite like it - indeed, the interior looks mint actually. I actually reckon that car will sell for less than my suspension upgrade costs!

Now, I've been considering buying a second car for commuting to London in - only for one or two days a week and I currently use my other half's Mini for this duty as I don't like putting the miles on the GT-S (but I also don't really like her driving my car). So, I need something.....you know, reliable and economical. How well do you think that car will fit my criteria then?
