Need a new key

[Hong Kong 3200GTA]

Hi all,

Anyone got any info/contact on where I can get a spare key cut for a 3200GTA. I don't have the red car key, just a red plastic card.

Main dealer mate. Just bought a spare for mine and it came to £350 programed, VAT etc.

only dealers can sell the keys. the key needs to be cut to suit the car and also programmed into the immobiliser. you can get a blank key from a dealer, as long as you have some one who can program it. i used an independent to reprogram the immobiliser, and get the keys cut, but not many places can do it and you need to remove the immobiliser unit to get it done.

at the end one has to understand that tree things have to be established to get a new matching key:

1) Complete Key with shape matching the door and ignition lock, -> delivered by Maserati
2) Circuitry inside the key for remote open function ->the alarm system needs to accept a new key (I think it needs just an already accepted key)
3) Responder fob inside the Key accepted by immobilizer->needs RED key or some experts who can do it without

experts can be found on the internet by "maserati 3200 key recovery" (the german one is not me even he is in same town than I, but NZ might be closer , also there are some in GB)
