Need 4 new tyres for my Gransport!

did you go for original 265 or 275? Just had a look at Asda and they only have 275 avaiable.
Tbh that's what pushed me to Continental. At the time I could have sized up and gone for Goodyear Asymmetrics but at like for like I had to go for the supersports and after some debate with the track day goers at work we decided the supersports weren't the best idea for all purpose. Plus I think they wanted a review of the contis

Found the front michelin 4S at decent price on black circles. 280 delivered today. At 140 each I feel it’s good value.
Struggling to find 265 for the read and also nothing less than. 500 quid for the 2 rear tyres..

If that's supply only it's worth having a friendly fitter. Last time I ordered tyres they wanted to charge me £10 per tyre for disposal then £1 an inch (£19) to fit, so an extra £60 on top to fit. Kinda negated the savings i had made. Long time ago now but

If the costs of fitting reflects the quality of the job I am happy to pay the extra cash. However my experience over the years has been pretty poor with traders. They always manage to scratch or do something to the alloys.
to the point I wanted to buy my own tyre balance machine :).
however I finally found one garage with real attention to details. And they are not bothered if I bring my tyres in. And they’ll fit for a tener each.

Is 275 a real alternative?any rubbing?
Even cheaper, 275s and 235s buy all 4 @ £640 - £100 promo = £540 bargain

I've used Camskill for quite a few years for tyres.
Can happily recommend them.

I put Continental’s on the rear of my Ghibli Diesel in August, have done about 8,000 (generally relaxed) miles and am apparently down to 3mm already. Quite shocked by that. The tyre place said that Continentals are very soft in comparison to other brands.

Interesting as I put sport contact6s on the rear of the Granturismo. I should get a gauge and track it over time for posterity

All sorted! Thanks for the input! Going to 275 at the back saves a fortune. Now I have 4 ps4S from 627 quid. Bargain! 687 fitted.
