Can't seem to find a definitive answer, so, can anyone say whether Cruise Control was a standard item or an option for the 4200?
Thanks in advance.

A couple of Ewan's previous posts on the subject which sums things up nicely

According to my UK brochures it was a £341 option across all the models (4200 coupe and spyder, GS coupe and spyder, 90th spyder and MC-Victory). None of them had it as standard.

Can't imagine many original MC-V purchasers specified cruise control. Not really in the spirit of the car. (Unless, maybe, you set it at 170!)

Here's the retrofitting guide which may, or may not for that matter, be of interest:

You're welcome. I wouldn't be too pre-occupied with minor details like cruise control though.
It's easy to add and since I did mine it must've been used at least 5 or 6 times!
Handy through traffic control but otherwise ….

Catman has an implant behind his ear that gives him a small electric shock whenever somebody posts on SM so he can be first to reply

This is actually true.
Apart from the bit about it being behind my ear.
And about it being a small shock.
