Not a fan of Mercs, but that one I would have....but being a Merc, it will be out of our price range, sniff.

its the only merc a lot of people would buy......

ahhemm Dem we have two of em , merc clk's that is , nothing but alittle tad over boring i agree , but they are megaaaaaaaaa reliable , good comfortable mile eaters , with minimal maintenance very economical to run , my older 2001 clk has cost me a small service in the last two years , the newer one a tad more Kaz does clock up the , miles, and she plainly refuses a G whizz well i tried

Saw one of these SLS's on the M4 near Bath at the weekend - its a very strikcing car. I dont know if it might have been one of the Dubai (or whatever ) Royal family - the plate was a UK plate but had the RRR on it - it was SL51 RRR.

i would never buy it, it is too clinical, bit like an R8, great car but lacking something.

Not so sure Adam........I can not stand Mercs but from what I've read this is one Merc that isn't lacking...pains to say that to.......plus it just looks so good.

nah, looks striking, but i dont like the interior as it is too C Class like (the buttons on the centre console are like an AMSTRAD) and it is a bit over priced.

Was put of Mercs after my wife had a 'c' class ...... Horrible car unless you were 70 ....... Wasn't much of a fan before but this really put the nail in the coffin.

I can testify to the mundaness of Mercs never made no bones about that , but mile eaters they are , 100k 200k miles is common place , miles to buck is pretty good they are soooo reliable, comfort level is excellent thats why they are so poular as reps/ managers cars , but the merger with chrysler saw a sharp difference in build quality and the days of the old solid Merc have gone , im afraid there just like a ford or vauxhall build standard now
