MP Supercars (Scotland) now PK Supercars

As some forum members will already know, Martin, one of the partners at MP Supercars (Scotland) Ltd has recently left the company to rejoin a main dealership. As a consequence, the trading name of MP Supercars has now changed to PK Supercars. Phil continues to run the business and is now also supported by his wife Kirsty (helping out with the phones, admin, train station collections/dropoffs etc), and I’m sure Martin will still be making an appearance from time to time.

MP Supercars (now PK Supercars!) is based in Cockenzie just outside Edinburgh and has an excellent reputation, being used by the vast majority of the Scottish forum members. I have no involvement with PK Supercars other than as a customer of quite a few years now - but am letting forum members know of the name change, and that the same business is still running. Having a good indie nearby has without doubt been a key factor in me staying with the marque for as long as I have!

Have to agree with Nige 100%. Phil is a top guy and although now snowed under always offers a first class & very personal service.

It's a shame Martin decided to move on but wish him well in his new position.

Didn't they sell that red GS that a member was trying to sell for ages...?......

Yep, sold to someone locally - replaced a 4200 Coupe and was intended as a temporary measure until his 550 arrived. He's kept both! Lovely car.

Largely due to the fact that it was not really marketed.

I wish both Martin and Phil well.

The red GS was lovely...suprised it took so long to sell....

That was WGG's from memory was it not.

I too was surprised it took so long to sell, if I were in the market, definitely would have been bang up for that one.

Its the forums LOGO!

If I remember right Matt it had full black leather and not the cloth which back then was rare for a car under 25k....

I also have to agree with Nige, Phil looked after me and the GS last year when it went in for it's annual service, did a cracking job and was a pleasure to deal with people who are genuinely interested and enthusiastic about what they do, I wish them both well for the future.

Used them when I had my 4200.

Well I will not be in for a while, at least 2014, or 2016 if I buy the extended warranty on my GTS. By then they would hopefully have had a few Granturismos through.
