So Doris has been in and a few issues -
brake pipe corroded - OK
Steering gaiters split - OK
Front spring broken - oh dear

But front Foglight / indicator smashed on the way to the MOT centre - no bloody luck there then

Go on tell me- im going to have to have 5 ft arms thin as wire and made of rubber to replace that then!!!

No mate, it's a piece of p!ss; remove the front under tray and there is a recessed 10mm bolt that goes up into the lamp. Remove the bolt and prise the unit remains forward.

But the 5 foot wire arms that bend in 3 directions are handy for the other bits

i would consider changing both springs to keep the car balanced, and also watch out there are 2 or 3 different spring rates, don't mix them up. When i got my car it had two different springs on the front and it took me ages to work out what was up.
