The joy of Ebay! that's too bad. When you heard mine at Blenheim a couple of years ago, that was with just the X and before I added the cats so it's not too loud but still gives you that little extra something.

the unsilenced x-pipe is what Maserati put on from the facory for the 2006 onwards "sport GT" QTP:

But even the regular one is already an x-pipe, just with a silencer, that can be cut of and replaced with two pieces of straight pipe for under £100 by any exhaust shop; this is the best solution I've come across, and it was posted on here previously:
