So the former leaves it fully open for the Kubang but does the latter mean that the small QP is not coming?

Bob, it would appear so. This RWD model started life as an Alfa 169, then got passed to Maserati, now it would appear back again....due to Maserati going for the SUV (which again started as an Alfa)

You might even find that Maserati has back tracked due to all the negative press and on forum such as this, that their customer base is not impressed.

It will come with the Pentastar V6 and be based on the Crysler 300C platform.

Either way, it would appear that the way to satisfy Italian accountants and secure the future of our favrourite marques it so sell out to the Yanks.

Anyway, its based on the new version, completely redone, so I dont think it applies to the Alfa/Maser

Hasn't the old Bertone factory been turned over to make the Kubang and baby QP? Could the baby QP also be based on the new 300C platform and why have no testing mules been seen?

The last I heard the baby Maseraqti was based on the 300C plateform......Heaven's above....

If it's based on the 300c, a proven car, there is probably no need to produce a mule.

There was one when the news first broke though.
