Microphone wiring

Hi, I’m guessing that in the picture is the wiring for the phone microphone above the rear view mirror but I cannot see where it comes out at the nit. Does anyone know where it comes out at. Mine hasn’t got the phone kit in but was hoping to use the original wiring for fitting a parrot Bluetooth.

Well given up on this, I have full continuity from black to - ground and I have resistance from yellow to ground so the other end is plugged into something and not just lying around somewhere. I’ve disconnected the plugs to the NIT and NIT screen and checked for continuity on all connection except the main cable from NIT to screen carrying RGB signal and nothing. Found a plug which apparently is for privacy module which I don’t have and no nothing. So looks like I like most will have to put a new microphone and wiring in.

If you PM member David Howson he did a lot of work on the Nit and what inside the armrest. He may be able to answer the question. @davidhowson

When I did a couple of 4200s it was trivial to run the mic cable behind the pedals then up under the trim on the driver's A-pillar. Worked lovely

Ye I just thought I’d get an original mic and plug it into original wiring and of cause it must connect to the NIT somewhere or be lying near the NIT easy peasy but no the Italians like to mix things up

Thanks but already read it, it mentions microphone but that’s it. I think I must of read all about nit and upgrades there is between here and USA, looked at car stereo iso wiring and connections which apart from canbus and rgb out thats what the nit has.
