Pretty sure that’ll be a scam, possibly with a highjacked account. Suspicious when the price is low and they want your email address.

For some reason the slightly odd phrase ‘optically very good’ is familiar too – perhaps from a similar recent cheap Merak posting?

I have emailed the guy several times and he has not responded.

Was going to take a look at it after Llandow.

Nope, a 1957 Alfa Guilietta spider. Unrestored and ebayed at a bargain price. The guy gave me an address in Enfield. Then pulled the ad and informed me it had been relisted and that if I paid him his asking price of £4000 I could see it . I never found the new listing and he's stopped replying to my emails. Many in the Alfa World were after that car. But it disappeared.

Thank you for your interest in my car. Since the request is large and for moment i will answer to the frequently asked questions.
The car has UK registration and i also have all the necessary paper work for worldwide export,title,customes/vat,forms etc. V5 available!
The car was built in 1973 and was restored in 2004 it has 56.200 Km. The car is in good condition, no scratches ,rust or dents, no hidden defects. The motor is working very well and provides very good fuel economy. The leather is like new!

Just google mapped it and its 10 miles from Llandow, anyone up for a viewing in that case , perhaps we could get 10 massers all turning up at his door hahahha

Was too good to be true, hence why these guys were asking for email addresses etc. I suppose those emails become the next targets so change your passwords to something very strong on your ebay accounts.

Thought as much, you can tell by the poorly worded response, using KM and Title, things that mean nothing in the UK.

Oh well, well done DI Loz.
