If I don't take the plunge on a Granturismo soon I swear I will be divorced, out of work and probably homeless...I spend a stupid amount of time trying to convince myself of the right spec, the right gearbox, the year blah blah! Does anybody know MD13FBB? It looks excellent, one owner car and reasonable miles at 27,000.

Best advice I can give is to view it. But first, Do the usual checks and listen to the great advice given on here.

I don’t know that car but I’ve just got a 2013 Granturismo Auto in stock with just 23000 miles. It’s a beautiful colour combination being Grigio Nuvolari with Sabbia, and is a cherished car that belonged to a very good customer of mine.

I bought mine 2 years ago from Dicky, still going strong, no issues, love it to pieces. He had the subframes sealed for me before I bought it too and had a (I think) 6 month warranty attached. He helped me out too when I had a minor ding and a also battery cock up meaning I couldn't open the boot! We're still in touch, deffo buy from him with zero worry and the knowledge that he'll look after you post-sale.

My only worry is do I get the minor service done at a main dealer or at a Maserati specialist!

Looking through the MOT history I would personally be a bit wary of the advisories. You'll probably need new brake rotors and pads (£2k) and I would insist on seeing some evidence the shock absorbers have been repaired/replaced.

Maybe it's just me but if I get advisories I want to get them looked at and repaired asap. This owner seems happy to ignore them for several years. Gives me the impression he/she isn't too bothered about looking after it.

If you get one off @dickygrace you'll have piece of mind it's in the best possible condition.

Thanks for saying so, I do make sure I only buy nice examples. This one is particularly clean, I saw underneath when it was being inspected and it’s very clean indeed. I’ve spoken to the OP @michaeldouglas72 and he’d already decided the one in the first post wasn’t for him.

Always a specialist for me - mine goes straight to SportsItalia every time. The other advantage is I get free beer when I drop it off (well, to be precise, I’ve never paid Matt!)

Thanks to all for your suggestions and advice, Dickie’s Granturismo is getting picked up tomorrow! You were all spot on, Dickie is a pleasure to deal with, straight to the point, happy to spend time educating the uninitiated and loads of patience! Job done!

Welcome to the club!
As others have said, you made the right decision going for as low risk purchase as you can, buying from Dicky.
What a lovely colour combo, don't think I've seen that before.
