That bordeaux red color is an OEM option. This is probably a Britex car that had the Britex replaced by leather and alcantara. I don't think its bad but the problem is the inconsistency between the seats and the rest of the car, should have used one material/colour rather than grey alcantara on the dash and white leather for the seat inserts.

Aside from the fact that the dealer is referring to his 4200 as a gransport, prima facie this will also be a SEAsian import with destroyed interior, which the owner then found out the cost of replacement, and decided to go down the cheaper path of emulating Hugh Heffners rubber room.

Now this is a complete disaster, but is actually quite common as a lot of reupholstered cars tend to go for the same trends of diamond stitching, unnaturally bright red colour, the red center stripe on the wheel and copious use of alcantara and fake CF wrap.

My rule of thumb is that the MCV trades at about twice the standard, at least in the UK. So a value of AUD120k may be achievable.
 
The average asking price for a GS in the UK this year has been circa £23k. The lowest was about £17k, and the highest about £28k (from Dicky, obvs.).
The few MCV’s that have sold here over the last few years have tended to be between £50-£60k.
As for the GS Spyder, here they are in the £35-£45k bracket.
 
I know this car, more particularly with the previous owner who imported it into Sydney from Singapore. He fitted Larini exhaust. Real Estate sales were booming so this was an addition to his Assetto Corsa that he had lavished a fortune on. Later he added a Stradale to make a set of 3. He sold the MCV, keeping the other two. I was made aware by him it was coming on the market if I wanted it. Unfortunately no spare coin at this time.
The most recent MCV sale was $85,000 which was a bargain I missed, bought by Happydaze. This price is a little keen, but it is no. 1 after all.
The high end ( really low KM late model ) GS's are advertised in the $80,000's and seem to go quickly.
Someone is trying $96,000 at the moment for a low km blue GS. 2007 Maserati Gransport Auto (carsales.com.au) I've seen this car for sale twice. Once at a Perth dealer for similar money with 15,000 km and then a couple of years later in Sydney privately. Beautiful car.
So the asking price for the MCV is not too far out. I hope they both get their prices.

Well, in fact, the car presented in Genova was numbered 000/180.
It was for sale 2 years ago in Germany (around 85k€ if I remember well).

Does that mean there were 181 of them? Or did they only run up to 179/180? Either way is somewhat nonsensical...
