That looks stunning, as does the price. Personally, I hope they sell it for that!

Zep it’s not stunning, it’s an old Maserati from yonks ago that was bought recently for almost half the price nearly and someone is trying to flip it.

Just lovely, and that blue carbon weave is quite something - I remember seeing it on Ewan's car some years ago and was mighty impressed!

Looking at the pictures reminds me how stunning the Victory is and I really must get mine out of storage soon and give it some miles (need to in July anyway for MOT and Service). I will watch with interest. Mine now owes me a figure starting with 7 getting it sorted to my OCD-esque requirements and I would sell now that I also have the Stradale, but not at any huge loss when I don't have to.

Edit to add: I am not sure how much being number 1 adds. Would I pay more? No, but I would be chuffed!

We shall agree to disagree on that! (As usual :)).

How much is the going rate for a standard GS in NSW ?
When i import several petabytes of sales data, strip out anomalies and look at the mean, median and mode price for all of the probably 1 GS to sell in NSW in the past year, my guess is, apples for apples (same mileage etc) that for a 'standard' GS the owner would likely have the audacity to ask high 7s or low 8s, but would likely get mid to high 6s.

I was enthused to see one of the 6 australian delivered (44 globally) rhd gs spyders hit the market a month ago, at a much higher price than prior sales. Initally asking 89k y private seller before it was traded on a Bentley... Is my understanding... Then dealership advertised at 80k and appeared to sell the car very very quickly... i.e two weeks, which is quick for a GS.

This represents strong growth on the last 4 of the other 5 gs spyders, which all sold between 2016 and 2019 for prices in the 4s and 5s.

Still, now that "in may, run away" has taken a firm footing in financial markets, we may see the steam come out, and i suspect the seller timed his departure impeccably.

Meanwhile the general rule on discounting for imports still seems to hold true. A UK import likely to require a 20 to 25% discount to similar aus delivery, meaning a uk gs spyder likely worth high 5s at best.

And the Honkers or Singers strains of the variant... Variant being the Spyder... Are likely a 35 to 40% discount, based on the inviolable rule that their leather has turned to sheight, and electrics will go the same way.

Has been for sale for 3 years, with owner bouncing price from mid 4s to high 7s back to mid 6s. My guess is to get a sale he'd need to take low 4s. This car has become scorched earth... The usual se asia interior rehash and limited history..

Lovely spec but it is surprising that the first MCV was a RHD car.
Yes, that's a good point. Probably 80 to 85 percent would be left hookers, so why make 001 a mano destra? Possibly ironing out the bugs to a market they cared little for.
