Last year when Miles was following me to Chamonix for dinner in the pouring rain, I could actually see his GTS twitching on the Autoroute behind me. The QP was solid at the same speed, which was surprising given how similar the cars are underneath.

Different tyres, maybe?

I believe they were both on OEM spec P-Zero tyres. Obviously, at the time we put it down to Miles being a cr*p driver

Lucky Lad, shame about the car, but metal so can be replaced..!!

I never let my tyres get to less than 3mm, i remember in the late 80s loads of the roads in Northants had to have skid risk signs put up because they'd failed EU skid tests

You do seem to see a lot of standing water on motorways in heavy rain, more than I remember years ago
