Silver Grecale heading down the A48 towards Chepstow. First one I have seen in the road and didn’t really move me one bit as dare I say it just looked bland. I like Maseratis to stand out in the crowd and on the road it just didn’t. I think it was a standard car so not the top of the range thingy.
Agreed. A mid-sized SUV is not an exciting prospect in design terms, and the Grecale is no more exciting to look at than its Porsche Mecan competitor.
However, I went in a top-of-the-range Tropheo Grecale last weekend and the interior was a good step up from other recent Masers, and it sounded fabulous.
That said, I’m waiting for the electric version to appear (maybe around December time, apparently) as a possible replacement for our E-Tron.

When I looked around one at Goodwood the interior did look good and as you Ewan and is massive step on in design and quality. The new GT also shows this. Saw the new GT at Maserati in Bristol in the week and it looks even better in the flesh.

Lovely Diablo SV in the village today, had just been for a service at Ian Tyrell’s Cheshire Classic Cars down the road.
What an impressive place that is. James very kindly showed me around a few months ago and the cars they had and their provenance made the hairs on my neck stand up!!
I didn't post any pictures due to respect of privacy.

Guessing it's a QP 'cos both driver and passenger responded to our frantic waving. (Flashed a Lavante earlier on the Ofenpass and got no response!!)
Levante? Respond? Never do. Seem to be a different demographic.
I was particularly pleased to be deliberately boxed in on the M5 the other day by one. Obviously sneering at my little FIAT Spyder. Synthetic exhaust. Fuff

Do I take it , or can anyone confirm points gained for speeding etc in Europe now no longer can be applied on a british driving licence , another good thing about Brexit if true
It's a bit more complex. When the UK was part of Yerp there was an agreement that driving penalties could be sent to partner countries. I know this to be true :) In Germany, they couldn't put points on an English license. However, they can fine you horrendous amounts of money and take your license from you. I also now this to be true (although I only received a threat to have my license revoked). Spent 20 years living in Germany and didn't realise the patch of Autobahn I had just travelled through at over 150mph (on a Sunday morning with no other traffic...) was temporarily limited to 60mp/h . So, I got a fine of 730eur and told that if I was caught x% over any speeding limit again I would lose my license - British or not...

But that was whilst I was living in Germany. Since brexit, Yerp member states can no longer send fines through to the UK and expect payment (and vice versa). But - just wait and see what happens when you get to a port somewhere and you have unpaid fines in that country. Ex-wife tallied up a lot of speeding fines that I wasn't aware of in NL (used to travel globally a lot) - tried to take the car on the ferry to the UK. Car was impounded and I was locked in the back of a prisoner transport van and driven to a bank to get money.....

I thought at one time it was possible , or was intended to become common practice , fortunately we had the common sense to make the right decision .....i'll get my coat now
