Ahh BorrowdaleWell done for keeping the local economy going! The town is nice up the hillside in the old medieval streets. Not quite as photogenic as some of the other Cinque Ports (think Rye), but I like it. The views over the town and out to sea and France are pretty good as you get higher up. There endeth my holiday destination plug.
I’m in Borrowdale having walked 13 miles in pouring rain and floods today. It was still jolly nice.
Somebody needs to enlighten me about Borrowdale!Ahh Borrowdale![]()

Found your project car then Phil
It’s all rather lovely there, but at the moment the roads and valleys are so flooded that any sports cars would probably be drowned/wreck their engines.Thank you!!! Looks gorgeous...!!
How are the roads?

If that was in Europe they would be asking more than an impeccable one in the UK.Found your project car then Phil
It's your birthday? Happy birthday!GT spotted literally round the corner (Ashenground Road in Haywards Heath) from me. Grey V111MHD?
If you were popping round to wish me happy birthday, sorry but I was out...pop back later...
It is bizarre. My cousin lived there for 7 years and was thinking of buying a Ferrari to bring back (tax free). The importer wanted cash up front to order a RHD car as it would be unsaleable if he did not take delivery!I spotted a Fuji Bianco (very appropriate) QPV and Nero GT near Fukuoka (Japan). Strangely enough there are a lot of LHD exotics in Japan as it is deemed a status symbol. Also spotted a pair of wildly painted Aventadors bumbling along at 60km/h - police are very strict and anal there so there is nearly 0 opportunity to let them out properly. Sad…
The red one appears to be a Sport, but with the bonnet from a 2 seat Strad. Unusual - but maybe just the spec they used in that particular country.
