Blu Sofisticato GT driving along Yapton Lane in Ford on Tuesday. Passed it in my Blu Sofisticato GT and gave each other a nice wave.

Light blue GT in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire today. We passed each other quite slowly, and I gave him a wave, but nothing. I thought for a moment I must be in the Volvo.

Heard with a nice overrun, but only caught the profile, so just guessing, maroon GT having a little play on a Malvern trading estate around 3pm yesterday as I was replacing my 8 year old Michelins at Shaun's Tyres.

A beautiful Bianco Fuji with Nero GranTurismo parked near my go-to coffeeshop (not in the Dutch sense!). Looks like an early one, 2009-ish. A black Levante with red interior yesterday - in the rear-view mirror it looks surprisingly small, actually thought it might be a Grecale at first but no such luck. Looking forward to spotting an MC20 as a couple are now up for sale here, although more likely to see them in Johannesburg where a lot of the rich (and the corrupt) live..

Why are you in Hythe (Dover for the continent, Hythe for the incontinent)?
Been just about everywhere else in Kent over the years, thought we’d see if it was any different.

It isn’t.

Walked along the seafront, had chips for lunch and found a little place selling prints of Kent stuff which is nice if you’re a Kentist. So we bought something for the FIL’s bday.

Well done for keeping the local economy going! The town is nice up the hillside in the old medieval streets. Not quite as photogenic as some of the other Cinque Ports (think Rye), but I like it. The views over the town and out to sea and France are pretty good as you get higher up. There endeth my holiday destination plug.

I’m in Borrowdale having walked 13 miles in pouring rain and floods today. It was still jolly nice.

They’re all quite similar, will be investing more in the local economy later, possibly The Port Arms or The Kings Head.

50mph winds and rain here too, they had the tugs out in Dover to get the ferries docked when we drove past.

Drove to Kent and back - saw two QP6 and one modern Ghibli on the M4 on Boxing Day then followed a white modern Ghibli through the Port Talbot section. It was plastered with Pokémon stickers. Weird.

Best other spot - black 928 being tailed by a grey 944

Kent’s not that bad you can stay. ;)
Having said that apparently we’re going to Whetherspoons in Ramsgate to meet the niece’s family tomorrow.
