Not really a 'spot' in the normal sense but I couldn't think where else to pit it - an utterly beguiling RHD QP1 at Goodwood last month, I couldn't take my eyes off it... also, did anyone on here buy the silver RHD '67 one that was sold on carandclassic.com last week...?

Not sure, I think the building we used to repack chutes in was similar
There are no others up there now, Dhekalia has changed but not for the better - it’s quiet here, lots of visiting exercises, shame the weather has turned for the worse, thunderstorms and rain for next 3 days and Crab Air back home

Did my free fall parachute course there in 97!
Luxury! Did my first at Langar (October-ish iirc, i.e. cold, wet, muddy) with mostly ex army instructors.
They said when they learnt to jump sex was safe and parachuting was dangerous. Now its the other way round.
Most 1st jumpers were doing round but a friend & I did squares and managed to land fairly close to the pit.
When I say "fairly close"

Did an intro jump in 87 on square, that was that until Cyprus, did the 2 week free fall course and then a few jumps in my own time, but like most things, family got in the way...

Toyed with the idea of an AFF course but decided to go the progression route. Partly cost as I was a student and partly the weather. A few places in the States were offering packages (Flager was popular) which was tempting. Life moves on though as you say. Risk assessment, or perhaps awareness, also changes. A mate in France did his National Service in Pau as did his Father - their cap badges are nicely mounted together. For Dad's 50th they bought him a Tandem jump - couldn't do it though.

I do believe this thread has drifted

Lovely blue 4200 (WX06) on the M40 heading towards London at lunchtime - properly miserable weather so will need a good clean !

Maserati Kyalami in the local classic restoration shop this morning (will get pics next time) apparently belongs to a Dublin based musician

Spotted today 11:45 Thursday 24nd October in Leman Street E1
Gransport in Dove Soap colour (BIANCO FUJI) looking very smart. Couldn't be one of us though. Stopped at lights under bridge and didn't give it any beans.
