Very hard to get the figures for 4200 and Gransport maybe if someone can help with this. I think the number of Gransports in right hand drive is only around 350 but thats not a confirmed figure. Please anyone if you have any facts on this then copy and paste my list adding your information to it.

I also have by the way technical and performance figures for most of the above cars

The more that bite the bullet and vanish off the face of the map, the better it will be for those that remain. As the car becomes scarcer demand will increase and so will prices

No...no RSM...not rubbing it in...............sorry to hear it indeed.

Far worse there were two deaths in NI of well known business types in their 3200s.......3 and 6 years ago,.........difficult cars to drive in poor conditions................plus alcohol involved

Now the great thing about maserati production is trying to verify it all!

Just curious to know where do these numbers come from?.......some are the same as those given by Maurizio Tabucchi one of the world's most knowledgeable...whilst others differ and many of the sports cars which admittedly were built as racers for the priledged are missing? for example Tipo 60 & 61 the Birdcages!

MT lists with chassis numbers too!

Thought this may be of interest the number of cars manufacturered up to and including 3200:-

Maurizio:

A6 Pininfarina 1946-1950 60 cars 61

A6GCS Berlinetta Pininfarina 1954 4 cars

A6 G/54 Zagato 1954 to 1957 20 cars Known also as the 2000 Gran Tourismo;
Groups all the Frua, Zagato & Allemano together at 60 cars but does list them individually!

A6G/54 Allemano 1954 to 1957 21 cars

450S Zagato 1957 1 car this car was in fact chassis 3501 tonked by Sterling Moss in the '56 Mille Miglia and given
a new chassis 4501 and rebodied by Zagato it was in fact the first of 11 Tipo 450s

3500GT 1957 to 1964 1,980 cars 2,225 My fave! GT, GTi Coupe & Spyder

5000GT 1959 to 1964 21 cars 34

Sebring 1 Series 1963 to 1965 350 cars

Sebring 2 Series 1965 to 1968 250 cars again grouped as 600 the same!

Mistral 1964 to 1970 830 cars 955

Mexico 1966 to 1972 485 cars He concurs 485!

Ghibli 1967 to 1973 1,150 cars 1,280

Simun 1968 1 car Oooh a new one to me....and MT! Something to research!

Indy 1969 to 1975 1,110 cars 1,104

Bora 1971 to 1978 530 cars He Concurs again!

Khamsin 1974 to 1982 435 cars 430

Merak unknown 1,820

Biturbo 1981 to 1987 9,210 cars 81 to 89 11,919 cars but then this is a grey area: the Bi turbo Spyder (3,074) was in production
to '94; the 420, 422, 4.18, 4.24 (6,151) 85 to 93; The 228, 222SR, 222 4v (809) 87 t0 93
430 & 430 4v (1,286) 87 to 94; the 222 & 2.24v (2,303) 88 to 92.

Karif 1988 to 1993 222 cars 221

Shamal 370 cars 369

3200 GT 1998 to 2002 4,795 cars

Missing:

The original Quattroporte 1963 to 69 776 cars

QP II 76 - 78 200 cars

QP III 79 - 90 2,155 cars.......................now there's a surprise....Volume!

Racing 90 - 92 230 cars at the time the world's most powerful two litre production car!

Ghibli 92 - 98 2,303 less than 200 RHD!

QP IV 94 - 2001 2,400
