It looks a bargain....
But please still allow for variators, bushes and brakes as there is no such thing as a bargain Maserati
Good luck

No variators issues on a duoselect QP and as it's being sold by a respected specialist, i'd imagine it's been well prepared. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be inspected but it's got a better chance of being decent and sorted than most cars of that age.

If you find something that looks like a bargain don't tell anyone , that car is private sale money but with the big jobs done and consumer rights , I'll be amazed if it's still there when he goes to look at it

The only thing I'm not keen on is the leather but I'd put up with it

Totally agree Darren.
If that had a beige or tan interior would be perfect but as you say it's liveable and grows on me.
I certainly didn't tell anyone about the £300 BMW M3 I bought until I had got it home that's for sure.

I like that interior colour. I had a Jaaaag with a similar colour inside to that for a bit. It really grew on me. Always felt clean and airy lol.

I think that's why I'm not keen on it , it's a bit Volvo , a Maserati should look special inside , the tan does that

Best option would be to put a holding deposit on it. This is an advantage of a dealer purchase, usually refundable too if you don’t like it for some reason.
Waiting several days/week to look at it in person first, maybe wanting to haggle the price down etc, in general means the best/most sought after cars are always gone before you get there.
If it’s a fair price, which this appears to be, just reserve it unseen.

What could possible go wrong! :)

Just got off the phone from the dealer, talked throught the car, and it all sounds nice, he's sent me some photos of the front subframe and boy the old one was a mess. I knocked him down a bit not much as it is a stonewall bargain and he's taken a deposit pending me going down tomorrow to view it and finalise the sales contract. I hate working Sundays and it being very quiet, I tend to spend...

BTW I am lying! ;)

Was about to say! Matthew never used to work Sundays! (Except once, or twice on my car!)
