It is a red racing car with a white number speeding round a corner (well thats what it looks like to me)

It's called La Forza Della Curva painted by Tullio Crali, an Italian Futurist painter of the late 20's and 30's. I remember studying the Italian Futurists at school (a LONG time ago) but came across it again in a book I received as a Chrimbo pressie from Mrs Tee - Maserati by Carugati. I really like it. It seems to sum up the spirit of that era.
