I've had a word with Larini. Dave, the chap I spoke to was really helpful. Even though I had told him that I had bought them second hand. His first suggestion is that one or both of the cats had blown and that I should get them checked. As they can cause a resonance problem.
I'm having a couple of tyres fitted today, I'll get the cats checked at the same time.
He also mentioned that as the wadding is thermal activated, I need to put 500 miles on the car. This should help. So, I'm moving forward. Slowly. Knowing me, I'll probably end up with a whole Larini system.
Complete system .....Not a bad thing Elliot hahaha , not heard of the cat causing resonance before , but David does know his stuff without doubt, worth checking , one of the first signs of a cat going are rattlling stones sound on start up that clears eventually , so worth checking , there are a few used ones on ebay at the moment, or you could go for a decat , must say tho havent heard of cabin boom with larini's before , i have a little between 2300 revs and 2600 revs on my 4200 but that has tubi's on ,
